On September 15, 2023, the ShakeAM Project held an impactful multiplier event at IST in
Lisbon, Portugal, gathering 20 key representatives from higher education, research
centers, and industry. Organized as part of ShakeAM mission to enhance skills in Design
for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), the seminar promoted collaboration and shared
insights into ShakeAM innovative training resources, designed to meet the growing need
for qualified DfAM professionals across Europe.
The event covered essential topics, including ShakeAM methodology, the DfAM Digital

support the development of DfAM education, ensuring a lasting impact on Europe’s next
generation of additive manufacturing professionals.
